Context
We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Business Controller to join the Group Financial Controlling and Consolidation Department of Lynxeo.
With solid hands-on experience and a group-level vision, you will be a central player in driving our decision-making infrastructure in close collaboration with Group Management and the Business Units. You will contribute in particular to delivering high value-added analyses and to scaling up our management tools.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controlling and Consolidation Director, you will work in close interaction with BU management teams as well as the Group FP&A team. This position offers strong development prospects within a growing finance team, combining the solidity of an industrial group with the entrepreneurial mindset of an SME, as well as close proximity to the business.
2. Main responsibilities
Group Business Intelligence solution deployment:
- Actively contribute to scaling up the Group BI solution, acting as the guarantor of Finance/Business needs.
- Participate in defining the Finance Core Model, ensuring consistency between analytical needs and their implementation in the group's tools.
- Ensure alignment of operational entities' management practices with group guidelines, to guarantee reliable, consistent and actionable reporting.
Value-added analyses:
- Build and deliver in-depth analyses to inform the Group's strategy, including: price/volume analysis by market, customer segment and product range; cost/selling price dynamics analysis; profitability analysis by BU and market segment; tracking profitability trends and identifying improvement levers.
- Build and maintain operational dashboards (financial and non-financial KPIs) enabling effective performance monitoring.
Business partnering:
- Act as the preferred partner of BU CFOs on BI topics: support them in adopting the group's decision-making tools and ensure the solution provides a coherent management framework meeting the needs of all BUs.
- Provide Management with key analyses and reports, aligned with the group's strategic priorities and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with operational departments (industrial, procurement…) to enrich financial analyses with operational insights and support decision-making.
Financial Master Data governance:
- Define and maintain the group's financial data repository: analytical hierarchies and dimensions (BU, market, product family, channel) – ensuring consistency between source systems and management tools.
- Lead, in collaboration with the IT department and BU CFOs, the qualification process for reference data within the ERP and BI solution, to ensure their reliability and completeness.
- Drive data governance with the BUs: define management rules, document repositories and ensure data quality over time.
3. Candidate profile
🎓 Technical skills

Higher education in finance, management control or accounting (Business School, Master's in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent).

8 to 10 years of confirmed experience in management control, with a track record ideally combining hands-on operational controlling experience (plant controller, commercial controller, BU controller) and a group or corporate dimension.

Solid understanding of the functional challenges related to Business Intelligence: data modeling, interactions with source systems (ERP, CRM) and reporting logic.

Proven experience implementing or redesigning a financial management system: BI tool deployment, ERP implementation or migration, structuring of a group reporting repository.

Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects involving multiple and diverse stakeholders: IT/IS teams, functional departments, local controllers, management – with an aptitude for translating business needs into functional requirements and maintaining stakeholder alignment throughout the project.

Experience with financial information systems (knowledge of ERP such as SAP appreciated).
- Fluent French and Professional English (collaboration with subsuduarues and international teams).
