Sourcing engineer - MVA&Trading

Purpose  

• Enhance professionalism and risk identification capabilities in supplier assessment process, 

develop suppliers with stronger collaborative competitiveness;  

• Improve the ability to identify and address supply chain risks, maximizing TCO optimization and   minimizing supply risks. 

• Support business ambition plan for 2029. 

Areas of responsibility  

• Develop and execute category strategies for plastics, APG or VC, rubber components and wire harnesses across global supply base 

• Lead RFQ process including supplier negotiation, cost analysis and contract finalization with focus on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) 

• Establish annual cost reduction and drive implementation 

• Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments for new/existing suppliers 

• Lead or support cross-functional teams to resolve critical quality issues (e.g. material defects, delivery failures) 

• Manage supplier performance through KPIs (OTD, PPM, cost saving achievement) 

• Develop dual-sourcing strategies to mitigate supply chain risks 

• Coordinate with R&D and SQE on early supplier involvement for new projects
