Role Purpose

The Group Quality Excellence Manager, reporting to the VP Industrial Operations, is responsible for driving the Group Quality strategy across all manufacturing sites.

Acting as a key partner for Operations and Plant Management, the role leads the deployment of the Group Quality Roadmap by standardizing quality processes, improving supplier and customer quality performance, reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and fostering a strong culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational support to ensure sustainable quality performance, reinforce manufacturing excellence, and support the Group’s industrial objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Strategy and Execution

• Support the deployment of the Group Quality Strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional quality initiatives and monitor execution.
• Develop and maintain Group Quality KPIs and dashboards.
• Support the preparation of Quality Management Reviews.

• Operational Support and Continuous Improvement

• Support sites in the deployment of the Quality Roadmap.
• Promote problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, PDCA, QRQC, Ishikawa, and the 5 Whys.
• Support sites in root-cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead cross-site quality initiatives.
• Share best practices and standardize successful initiatives across plants.

• Supplier Quality Excellence

• Participate in supplier performance scorecards and reporting.
• Support Purchasing in supplier performance reviews and supplier development.
• Coordinate supplier audits and follow up on improvement plans.
• Standardize supplier non-conformity management.

• Customer Excellence

• Monitor customer quality performance and claims trends.
• Coordinate customer complaint analysis and follow up on corrective actions.
• Capture lessons learned and ensure their deployment across sites.

• Risk Management and Compliance

• Support the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Ensure the effective management of quality documentation.

• Systems, Processes, and Culture

• Standardize quality procedures, methodologies, and reporting across all sites.
• Develop common quality tools and templates.
• Promote a strong quality culture throughout the organization.
• Deliver quality awareness and training sessions.
• Support the digitalization of quality processes and performance monitoring.

Candidate Profile

• Education

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.

• Experience

• 7 - 12 years of experience in Quality within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience in multi-site organizations is highly desirable.
• Strong background in Quality Systems, Supplier Quality, and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience managing cross-functional improvement projects.

• Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with Supplier Quality Management.
• Practical knowledge of FMEA, 8D, RCA, APQP, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with quality KPIs and performance analysis.
• Project management skills.
• Audit experience.
• Complete fluency in English is essential.
