🎯 Your mission

Under the supervision of the Global Non-Ferrous Metal (NFM) Manager, you will be responsible for autonomously managing relationships with NFM downstream suppliers. You will oversee supply flows to ensure plant requirements are met while considering supplier capabilities. This role encompasses strategic purchasing and supply chain management tasks.

The position requires a strong cooperation with the NFM team, covering Europe, APAC and US teams.

🛠️ Your main responsibilities:

🔹 Strategic Sourcing: Develops long-term procurement strategies for non-ferrous metals to support manufacturing, often utilizing hedging and commodity risk management.

🔹 Supplier Relationship Management: Identifies, evaluates, and manages vendors to ensure quality, compliance, and cost efficiency.

🔹 Downstream NFM Purchasing : Supervise flows to fulfill plants’ operational needs, and maintain strong coordination with Downstream Category Managers, tolling management, and scrap management

🔹 Negotiation: Secures favorable contract terms for raw materials.

🔹 Market Analysis: Monitors global commodity supply chains for copper, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. 

🔹 Tolling Management Flows : Arrange and manage long-term indirect tolling commitments to secure supply chain continuity, supervise the execution of outgoing material flows in accordance with group contracts, act as a supervisor for the local supply chain and NFM demand, ensuring accurate material flow by integrating forecasts per plant.

👤 Your skills and qualifications

✅ Master degree with technical expertise in metal and solid experience in strategic purchasing

✅ Experience in the cable industry and knowledge of strategic partners

✅ International negotiation, contract management

✅ Proficiency in SAP systems to support purchasing and supply chain activities

✅ Fluent in English
