Inside Sales & Operations Specialist

Location: Providence, RI (On-site with occasional hybrid flexibility)
Reporting To: Business Development Manager, North America

As we officially launch commercial operations in North America, we’re looking for a versatile and driven Customer & Operations Specialist (CSOS) to support both the front and back-office functions critical to our success.

What are the main missions?

The Inside Sales & Operations Specialist will support sales and business development efforts while also managing key operational tasks at the Providence, RI facility. This hybrid role ensures smooth internal and external communication, efficient order management, and customer satisfaction across Lynxeo’s North American operations.

He/she will act as an important point of contact for customers and distributors, providing timely and accurate support while assisting the sales and factory teams. This role bridges time zone gaps with European teams and helps drive growth through proactive and responsive customer engagement.


What will you do?

You’ll play a key role in supporting sales, customer relationships, and operational efficiency. This hybrid position spans inside sales, customer service, logistics coordination, and other office support.

Customer Relations:

  • Serve as the North American contact for customer inquiries and support
  • Ensure delivery and service align with customer expectations and contractual terms
  • Manage order status, complaints, and dispute resolution
  • Monitor and support on-time delivery and service level targets
  • Coordinate customer follow-up and satisfaction tracking

Sales Support:

  • Support quote generation, RFQs, and order processing
  • Maintain CRM and ERP data related to customer accounts, opportunities, and pricing
  • Collaborate with Business Development to manage sales documentation and records
  • Prepare for key customer visits and sales presentations
  • Provide feedback to the commercial team to improve Lynxeo offers

Management of Accounts:

  • Handle assigned customer accounts including order entry and basic support
  • Identify upselling opportunities based on Lynxeo’s portfolio
  • Promote Lynxeo’s solutions and ensure brand consistency

Logistics and Operational Support:

  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities from the Providence location
  • Align logistics processes with European team and North American needs
  • Support invoicing and payment tracking in collaboration with finance

Back-Office Support:

  • Contribute to internal workflow improvements and documentation
  • Help streamline factory-level tasks impacting customer-facing functions
  • Act as the bridge when the Business Development Manager is unavailable

What about our best candidate?

  • 5+ years in customer service, inside sales, or operational support roles
  • Knowledge of automation industry, industrial distribution, or cable manufacturing is a plus
  • Experience with ERP (preferably SAP) and CRM tools
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and strong multitasking ability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Data fluency and comfort with reporting and process documentation

Schedule & Compensation

  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some hybrid flexibility)
  • Location: Providence, RI – on-site presence required
  • Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 + incentive bonus based on performance
  • Benefits: Full health, dental, vision, and retirement package
