Production Planner

As Production Planner you will support Planning team in sequencing operations (prioritization and consolidation) as well as monitoring their execution. Support in creating the Master Production Schedule (MPS), managing  available-to-sell inventory, and confirming delivery times to customers.

 


 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

Master Production Schedule (MPS) Creation

  • Develops and proposes weekly operational production plans for the site based on customer needs and the results of the previous plan; measures plant workload.
  • Ensures the feasibility of the plan by identifying capacities, resources, and available inventory.
  • Participates in the MPS meeting and, after validation, implements and monitors the production plan, checks its compliance with work orders, and releases work orders.
  • Monitoring of plan execution, regularly ensuring commitments and inventory levels are met. In this context, participates in the development and monitoring of corrective and improvement actions and in customer communication.
  • Handles alerts.
  • Participate the daily backlog follow-up meeting and the weekly workload meeting.

Performance Monitoring

  • Ensures product availability on scheduled shipping dates. Minimizes volume/inventory standard deviations or lead time/customer commitment deviations.
  • Updates resource requirement tables and production schedules based on MPS decisions.
  • Is responsible for the reliability of the data used.
  • Contributes to achieving OTIF (On Time In Full), analyzes delays, and implements action plans to reduce non-OTIF.
  • Ensures standards are applied within their scope.

Continuous Improvement

  • Regularly suggests improvement proposals within their scope.
  • Provides and explains initial continuous improvement elements.
  • Communicates widely on progress made following initiated changes.

Team Life

  • Works in the collective interest of the site.
  • Works with production, considering their constraints.
  • Works cross-functionally, considering constraints from other areas (sales, production, etc.).

 

What About You?

  • Max 3 years of professional experience, preferably in the industry sector, in supply chain fields and in an international environment.
  • Bachelor Degree in Management or Industrial Engineering (3 years)
  • Strong communication skills, with a proactive, enthusiastic, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong team orientation and the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments, especially with the Production Office, to achieve shared goals.
  • English knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
