Production Planner

Lynxeo, formerly Nexans ISP, is seeking a Production Planner to join our Automation team in Pioltello plant. This is your chance to be part of a fresh and exciting journey with a new company focused on innovation and growth.

 

Reporting to the Planning Manager, located in Pioltello (Italy), this position is responsible for planning the production orders according to the decisions made within the S&OP and the plant demand plan. He manages the Master Production Scheduling (MPS), provides “Available To Promise” and delivery lead time to the customers.

Master Production Scheduling Management

  • Deploys S&OP forecast by references and by week
  • Creates and proposes every week updated Master Production Schedule according to customers’ requirements and the previous plan results
  • Ensures the plan’s feasibility by identifying capacity, resources, and available inventories
  • Ensures the consistency between the customer’s backlog, forecast, and Available to Promise (ATP)
  • Follows up MPS execution and animates the weekly MPS meeting., Gives, after validation, the production plan to the internal and external actors (scheduling, logistics, internal and external suppliers…)
  • Supervises, with the production and support functions (Maintenance, quality…), the daily follow-up of the MPS execution, with a particular focus on commitment and inventory levels respect.
  • Participates to the development and follow-up of corrective and improvement actions in order to keep the customer informed
  • Contributes to the S&OP process

 

Monitoring of Performance

  • Is responsible for the MPS plan’s adherence ratio with the S&OP
  • Ensures the product’s availability on agreed delivery dates
  • Updates resource’s requirement dashboard and production planning according to MPS arbitrations.
  • Is responsible for reliability of data used
  • Optimizes his resources on his perimeter

 

Application of standards

  • Evaluate the importance or criticality of deviations from standards and manages these.

 

Continuous improvement

  • Regularly suggests improvement actions on his perimeter
