Junior Sales Manager Automation

🚀 We Are Hiring! 🚀

As a Junior Sales Manager Automation at Lynxeo, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of the Commercial Action Plan, actively contributing to BU Automation sales growth and customer satisfaction on an international level. You will have the opportunity to progressively develop your autonomy in managing customer portfolios, working closely with senior sales managers and acquiring strategic and operational skills in the cable and technical solutions sector. You will work in a dynamic environment that values professional growth, advanced digital tools, and a consultative sales approach.

Your primary responsibility will be linked to Lynxeo’s Italian factory, where you will closely collaborate with internal teams. However, your role will also involve frequent interactions and coordination with other Lynxeo factories located in various countries and continents, to ensure seamless alignment and effective support for international customers.

Although Lynxeo’s key global customers are leading multinational corporations, you will initially focus on supporting and developing other customer accounts. With growing experience and demonstrated results, you will have the opportunity to take on responsibility for these strategic multinational clients.

A key aspect of your role will be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including the Technical Office, production, legal, and customer service departments, to find the best balance between factory capabilities and customer satisfaction, ensuring solutions are both technically feasible and meet client needs effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Contributing to Sales and Commercial Margin Targets:
Actively support achieving sales and margin objectives according to the defined Commercial Action Plan, collaborating with senior sales managers to develop and propose effective action plans.
  • Market and Customer Insight:
Build in-depth knowledge of Automation target customers, competitors, market trends, and sector developments to anticipate needs and identify profitable business opportunities worldwide.
  • Supporting and Developing Automation Customer Portfolio:
Participate in identifying new prospects and opportunities, supporting customer loyalty and long-term relationship development. Initially, focus will be on a defined customer portfolio, with the possibility to progressively manage key multinational accounts as experience grows.
  • Execution of Sales Action Plan:
Collaborate in implementing sales activities, assisting in the preparation of offers, quotes, and commercial documentation in close coordination with internal teams, especially the Technical Office, production, and customer service, to ensure alignment between technical feasibility, factory constraints, and customer expectations.
  • Participation in the Full Sales Cycle:
Gain experience in the entire sales process—from lead qualification, negotiation, contract closure, to post-sale monitoring—with senior team support.
  • Customer Satisfaction Monitoring:
Assist in tracking customer satisfaction, collecting feedback, and proposing improvement actions to strengthen relationships and Lynxeo’s reputation globally.
  • Forecasting and Reporting:
Work with the team to accurately collect and update monthly sales forecasts, regularly reporting on commercial progress, opportunities, and challenges across international markets.
  • Continuous Professional Development:
Take advantage of structured training on digital sales tools (CRM, Sales Navigator), negotiation techniques, project management, and market strategies.
  • Initial Training in Factory and Laboratory:
Undergo an initial comprehensive training program in Lynxeo’s Italian factory and laboratory facilities to gain hands-on technical knowledge of products, production processes, and quality standards, providing a solid foundation for your sales activities.
  • Cross-functional Team Collaboration:
Maintain a close and proactive collaboration with the Technical Office as well as production, legal, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment. This collaboration is crucial for delivering solutions that balance manufacturing capabilities, technical requirements, and commercial commitments, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.
Moreover, you will frequently interact with other Lynxeo factories worldwide to coordinate efforts and share best practices.

What About You?

  • You have 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the cable industry, technical fields, or related commercial roles, and you are motivated to grow in sales and business development in an international environment.
  • You possess strong communication and presentation skills, with a proactive, enthusiastic, and problem-solving mindset.
  • You are comfortable with or eager to learn digital sales tools and CRM platforms to efficiently manage sales pipelines and customers.
  • You demonstrate a strong team orientation and the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments, especially with the Technical Office, to achieve shared goals.
  • You thrive in finding balanced solutions that reconcile technical feasibility, factory capabilities, and client needs, ensuring win-win outcomes.
  • You have an understanding of international business dynamics and are able to interact effectively with global multinational clients, as you progressively take on responsibility for these accounts.
  • You are ready to work primarily with the Italian factory but also capable of frequent collaboration with other Lynxeo production sites globally.
  • You can work well both independently and within a team, showing flexibility and agility in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • You speak fluent Italian and English, German is a plus.
  • You are willing to travel regularly (>40%) to meet clients and develop business.
  • You are curious and eager to learn, ready to acquire advanced commercial, negotiation, and market analysis skills.

What We Offer

  • A stimulating work environment where your professional growth is supported by mentoring, continuous training, and increasing responsibilities.
  • The opportunity to enter a technically advanced and evolving sector, with cutting-edge products and solutions.
  • A collaborative and multidisciplinary context, where you will interact with commercial, technical, legal, and production teams.
  • Exposure to international markets and the chance to progressively work closely with some of the world’s leading multinational corporations.
  • Frequent interaction and cooperation with Lynxeo’s global factory network.
  • A clear and ambitious career path leading from a support role to autonomous portfolio management and successful commercial relationship building.
