We are looking for a Application Engineer – Automation (Cable & Harness Solutions) - (H/F)

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Engineer (Cable & Harnessing) BU Automation.

Your role is to provide technical expertise and application support for Lynxeo’s cable & harness solutions in industrial automation, robotics, and process industries.

Acting as the link between customers, engineering, and production, you ensure solutions are technically sound, standards-compliant, and optimized for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze customer specifications, drawings, and BOMs to define appropriate cable & harness solutions.

· Support design-in activities for automation systems, robotics, sensors, drives, and control equipment.

· Provide technical support during RFQ preparation, feasibility studies, prototypes, and validation phases.

· Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to adapt designs for cost, performance, and manufacturability.

· Produce accurate technical documentation, reports, and presentations for both customers and internal stakeholders.

· Act as technical support during installation, troubleshooting, and product qualification.

Profile

· We are looking for an application-focused engineer with strong technical grounding in automation systems and electrical harnessing.

· Many years’ experience in application engineering, field engineering, or design engineering in industrial automation, robotics, or electrical harness/cabling would be appreciate

· Solid knowledge of harness design, electrical connectivity, and industrial automation standards

· Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.

· Fluent in English, German as plus (written & spoken).

· Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.

· Willingness to travel to support customers and projects.
