In 2024, the Industrial Solutions & Projects Business Group has been separated from the Nexans Group and became an independent company.

As part of our separation, we need to set up our own support teams for the central functions: Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Purchasing and Legal. More than 50 positions have been created, 90% of which are staffed.

Purpose

 

  • The Business Coordination & Deliveries Technical Analyst is in charge of local support under her/his responsibility.
  • She/he works closely with the end users and other business partners in supporting any technicalimplementation.
  • She/he pilots or performs the analyses, configuration and development of software package components in compliance with standards and procedures.
  • She/he is providing on-site support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and assisting users with technical problems.

 

Responsabilities

 

IS Coordination

  • He/she establishes and maintains a relationship with site users.
  • He/She will act as point of contact for the business for all IS related questions and
  • complaints
  • He/She will assist in the creation of action plans and their follow-up

Operations & Support in IT and OT

  • Providing on-site support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.
  • The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues,maintaining network infrastructure, and assisting users with technical problems.
  • Take part in the resolution or escalation of incidents and problems
  • Ensure proper management and follow up of his/her backlog.
  • Support the solution and solution environment update process
  • Support and coach the business solutions contacts. 

Development & Delivery in IT and OT

  • Make detailed specifications and plan for the implementation of solutions.
  • Ensure an up-to-date documentation according to the defined documentation standards with support of internal departments (ex. Architecture, Security, Operations). 

Continuous Improvement and performance

  • Monitor and report regularly on the performance indicators and quality of service
  • Ensure that the documentation is coherent, available, maintained, distributed and applied.
  • Contribute to the transfer of know-how, experience and best practices within the team and with project stakeholders.
  • Make sure to apply IS best practices and processes o Maintain IT tools (ITSM, ITAM…)

 

Skills required

 

  • Experienced in information technology or computer science skills with a relevant degree for it
  • Strong problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent communication abilities,
  • A solid understanding of IT systems and network
  • Support & service oriented mindset
  • Basic knowledge of IT-OT operations and networks
  • English skills
